What I think about the personality test

I discover the website of this persoality test from http://www.keirsey.com/default.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/sorter/instruments2.aspx.
In the final evaluation, it divided the personality into four parts, which are gardians, idealists, artisans and the rationals. The result of my personality is Gardians.
In the test, it asked about your way of dealing with your friends and your work. It put an emphasis on how you face the difficult tesk in your world. Do you analyze the sitiuation and figure out the result deliberately? Or you are a person who do everything with your own emotion? And it lists some famous people of your kinds.
In the evalutaion of mine, I think it is quite right. "The gardians" is really my personality. I always evaluate the sitiuation carefully before I made up my mine to decide something.
It is really fun to do the 心理測驗 in English. Because there are a lot of words I don't understand. I had to guess the real meaning of the sentence, and surprisingly the final result still fit with my personality. Isn't it a little strange?

  1. Perhaps it's strange. Or perhaps it just confirms what language learning research says: context is just as important for meaning as the meaning of individual words.
