Dear Judy and Fay,
It was great to talk to you two on Wednesday. I am really looking forward our trip. Just to confirm, we are going to Durban to watch the match of Spain versus Switzerland on 16 June. Spain is one of my favorite teams and I am interested in Switzerland's performance, so we will enjoy watching the match! Someone says that Durban is one of the country's most spectacular cities, for this reason I think we will have fun there while not watching the match.
We can spend one morning dining in one of the restaurants along the beach and admire the beautiful scenery. After that we can go for a walk alone the beach, or shop at The Gateway Theatre Of Shopping or the Pavilion Shopping Centre, both are the place the tour guiding page suggested. I will skip the shopping plan if you don’t want to. I know boys don’t like to go shopping with girls. I would like to know what you think we can do besides sitting on the spectators seats.
If we were going to watch that game we’d better started off now. I am sure we will have fun there!
Best wishes,
Eileen

Dear Eileen and Fay,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to get your mail! I think Your idea is really cool! I am interested in the game of Spain and Switzerland too! And I love taking a walk by the sea. It will be a interesting trip.
If we still have a few days after watching the exciting game and beautiful sight in Durban, maybe we can consider to fly to Nelson Mandela Bay/Port Elizabeth to watch the match of Germany versus Serbia which will be played in the afternoon in June 18. Germany is my favorite team, and the stadium in Port Elizabeth which they will play in looks cute! I think we can enjoy another beach sight, blue sky and the song singing by seabird while taking a walk along the stadium beside the port.
Considering that you might feel board going to beach all the time, Johannesburg will be another good choice. It looks like a beautiful mountain city! Its winter temperatures range from 24°-16°C, so we will enjoy the warm weather there and have fun watching Slovenia versus the USA in the afternoon!
By the way, I think the shopping idea may be fun, maybe we can find something special in South Africa.
