Hey, Lucy.

Dear Lucy:

I am sorry for sending you this e-mail so late, hoping that you won’t blame me. Going to watch FIFA World Cup in South Africa surly is a big decision for me, so I took a couple of days to think it over. And now, I can tell you my answer:” Pack your suitcase, Lucy! WE ARE GOING TO SOUTH AFRICA!”
As usual, you can count on me. I’ll take care of everything. A friend working in the air port has given me his word for giving us two tickets. (Of course not for free, but we can enjoy our time in the first class while paying less money than our neighbors.) Also, do you mind sharing a room with me? I won't snore or talk when I am sleeping, I promise! If you don’t mind about it I’ll just call the hotel and book a double room with twin share. We are still going to stay at Nelson Mandela Bay right? If you have changed your mind, tell me. And for the match, which team do you prefer? I love Taiwan only; unfortunately, Taiwan didn’t participate in the World Cup. Do you have any suggestion? I’ve heard that Bonnie and her friend are going to watch a match there. Maybe we can go with them? You can think it over. We can discuss more details later.
SOUTH AFRICA, HERE WE ARE!!!!!!!!!

Best wishes
Beth

  1. Peter and I have already got the tickets from the travel agency and they will plan the journey for us. If you guys just have no idea about the coming trip, maybe we can get together to have a nice vacation.

  2. Dear Beth,

I'm glad to hear that you decided to go with me!
Your quick action of buying the tickets really surprised me!

As to the room, of course I can share a room with you! But did you book the hotel already? I don't know what hotel you found, but I found a hotel called 10 On Cape. I think we can stay in there. 10 On Cape Hotel located in Cape Road, Port Elizabeth, close to the shopping centre, hospitals, restaurants and many parks. 10 On Cape Hotel also has some facilities such as golf course, tennis courts and swimming pool. The most important, 10 On Cape is only 3km far from Port Elizabeth International Airport and 5km to Nelson Mandela Stadium, how convenient! I think 10 On Cape Hotel is a good resting place for our trip. What do you say? If you say yes, then I'll book the room immediately.

Seriously, I am never a fan of football. But this time in the World Cup, I'm really interested in Match 31 that Chile versus Switzerland. Please don't ask me why. You just tell me if you like it or not. The game is in 21 June, I'm thinking if Bonnie and Sara plan to watch games in 20 June or 22 June, we can be their company. What do you think?

Oh, there is one thing I forgot to tell you: Remember to take your swimming suit, because we will go to the beach!

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    Sincerely yours,
    Lucy
